Equip youth workers
Bring together six youth workers, three from each partner, for a five-day joint training in Alameda on environmental learning, inclusion and well-being.
RISE AUSTRIA PROJECT
Sport. Nature. Future.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Movement can make sustainability something young people experience together.
Green Goals is a 15-month Erasmus+ partnership between RISE Austria and Asociación Deportiva y Cultural Entrejuegos in Spain. It aims to develop an inclusive youth-work approach that connects physical activity, environmental action and well-being.
Through outdoor sport challenges, young people will explore issues such as waste reduction, biodiversity and sustainable lifestyles. The partners will test the activities in both urban Vienna and rural Alameda, then turn what they learn into methods other youth workers can use.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Bring together six youth workers, three from each partner, for a five-day joint training in Alameda on environmental learning, inclusion and well-being.
Co-create 10 Green Sport Challenges that combine movement with environmental learning and can be adapted to different places and abilities.
Run local pilots with at least 25 young people aged 15–25 in each city, Vienna and Alameda, using their feedback to improve the activities.
Document the tested challenges and guidance for inclusion and urban or rural settings, then share the results with youth workers and local organisations.
PLANNED RESULTS
Activity cards shaped by the training and local pilots, covering environmental themes, reflection and accessible participation.
A practical Green Goals Toolkit in English, German and Spanish, supported by four to six short video tutorials showing selected activities.
A Green Goals Festival in Vienna and a multiplier event in Alameda, each aiming to reach at least 50 local stakeholders and share the tested methods.
THE PARTNERS
Coordinates the partnership, leads the Vienna pilot, contributes inclusion, well-being and urban adaptation content, and organises the Vienna Green Goals Festival.
Asociación Deportiva y Cultural Entrejuegos hosts the training in Alameda, leads the local Spanish pilot and the toolkit and evaluation activity, and organises the Alameda event.
